Dog Child is a dog walking and pet care company marking our territory in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We strive to foster a healthy, loving and safe pet friendly environment in the neighborhoods we service through dog walking, pet sitting and community service.
Job Summary
Compassion and patience for animals are necessary attributes to be successful in this position. Not to mention reliability, flexibility, a positive attitude and love of a challenge- all key ingredients in making the dog children’s day successful.
Candidates must be consistently available during their assigned shifts and reside within 3 miles of Glover Park.
Be comfortable with safely leading and securing multiple dogs. Must be Pet first Aid/CPR certified (Employees are eligible for reimbursement for a pet first aid certification class)
Must be 18 years of age or older
Average pay is $13.00-$20/hour

- Must have reliable transportation, a bicycle is perfect!
- Must be comfortable working in different weather conditions (rain, snow, sunshine)
- Must have smartphone with picture, email, text and online app access capability
- Morning, midday and evening shifts available
- Applicants able to work holidays, weekends will be preferred
- Opportunities for additional work in pet sitting also available
Must be 18 years of age or older
Average pay is $13.00-$20/hour
